Challenge for Childrens Challenge for Childrens

Challenge for Children’s will not be hosting a paintball event in 2018

From Matt Ames, Founder:

C4C Stake Holders,

I can not thank you enough for your efforts over the past 9 years. We have donated a half million dollars to a great organization and cause.

I am writing to let you know that there will be no 2018 Challenge for Children’s paintball event. This is a decision I do not take lightly, but it is my decision and I feel it is the right one. As an organization we need to take some time off, recharge the batteries & make sure our intent with our efforts is on target.

Right now there are more questions than answers but you all know me and I can assure you that when we reengage C4C it will be with clear intent & maximum effort. If you have any questions feel free to ask however please understand I might not have a definitive answer for you.

Again THANK YOU for your service. You have all been amazing to work with & have gone above and beyond. Now please enjoy your new found free time with one less obligation.

About Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota

Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States and the only health system in Minnesota to provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood. An independent and not-for-profit system since 1924, Children’s serves kids throughout the Upper Midwest at two free-standing hospitals, 12 primary and specialty-care clinics and six rehabilitation sites. Children’s maintains its longstanding commitment to the community to improve children’s health by providing high-quality, family-centered pediatric services and advancing those efforts through research and education. An award-winning health system, Children’s is regularly ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a top children’s hospital and by The Leapfrog Group for quality and efficiency.

About the Cause

As an organization that changes lives every day, the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN holds a special place in MN Pro Paintball owner, and Challenge for Children’s (C4C) founder, Matt Ames’ heart. Living with a congenital heart defect, Matt has been treated at Children’s Hospitals since birth and still gets his care there today.

With his personal mission to live his life through meaningful experiences that create lasting memories, and his love for paintball, Matt founded C4C as a way to bring people together to create memories of their own while giving back to an organization that gives so much to others.

With giving back top of mind, in 2013 C4C committed to donate $250,000 by 2017 to Children’s to help build a state-of-the-art Simulation Center. Since then, C4C has become the largest third party event benefiting the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN and the largest charity paintball game in the Midwest.

In our efforts to continue to make meaningful contributions to Children’s , and to create more memories while doing so, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Join us through sponsorship, volunteering, donating, registering to play or coming out to watch on game-day!
